Miami Vice Town is a role-playing simulation game that lets you commit crimes all around the Florida city of the same name to become a crime kingpin. Also called Miami Crime Vice Town, it includes some elements from the hit 80s television show set in Miami.

If you ever wanted to know what life was like for a criminal, this game lets you find out. It includes many different challenges that are sometimes basic and simple and other times exciting and tough. As you play, you need to keep an eye on the meters at the top of the screen. One of those is a health meter that shows you exactly how much health you have left. You'll need to rest to keep your health up and take frequent breaks before your character dies. An icon will pop up each time that you commit a crime worth money to show you how much you earned and how much you have in total.

With Miami Vice Town, you need to commit crimes and avoid the police at the same time. You get money when you throw objects through windows and rob shop owners and when you steal cars. If a police officer gets too close, you can throw someone from a vehicle and steal that car to run off into the sunset. This can result in the police calling for back up though and more cops chasing after you.

The game includes a map on the left side of the screen to help you see your location at any given point in time. A green arrow in the center of the map shows your current location, but white outlines will show you where there are crimes you can commit. Red lights on the map show you where there are cops and how close they are to you. You can also use this map as you escape arrest to make sure you avoid the cops.

Though players had some issues with this game, the developers released updates that fixed some of the common problems, including the way the game would sometimes crash when loading and the lag times. They also added new tasks and enlarged the map to give players more things to do. While you may still experience a few problems, you'll notice less that there are less than there were in the past.
